KD&CO Advisors shapes the destinations people travel to see. Their website was a Squarespace template with a grid of thumbnails. We rebuilt it as sixteen hand-built pages, one for every engagement.

The problem was not that it looked bad
Keith Douglas spent three decades building the places people travel to see. Top of the Rock. The Rainbow Room. One World Observatory. Summit One Vanderbilt. Rockefeller Center's tree lighting.
A thirty-year record compressed into a grid of thumbnails reads like a portfolio. Keith is not selling a portfolio. He is selling judgment, and judgment needs room to be explained. The template had nowhere to put the mandate, the constraints, or what actually changed.
So we gave every engagement its own page, and built the site by hand so nothing about the layout was decided by a page builder.

Can you move my site off Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress?
Yes. KD&CO Advisors moved off Squarespace onto a site we hand-built and they own outright. We handle the build, the domain and DNS changes, the redirects, and the Search Console setup so nothing that was ranking gets lost in the move.
Why build a site by hand instead of using a page builder?
A page builder decides your layout for you, and it shows. Hand-built markup means the structure follows the work rather than the template, the pages load fast because there is no builder runtime to download, and there is no monthly platform fee holding your site hostage.
Will I be able to update it after launch?
Yes. You get a clean codebase and the accounts that run it, so any developer can pick it up. Most clients send us their edits under an optional care plan, which also covers monitoring, updates, and small additions after launch.
